​Louisville Zen Center offers beginning and continuing meditation instruction, group practice sessions, work practice  opportunities, meditation retreats, and other activities and events to support our membership and the wider community.

Events are open to adults 18 years of age and over (and teenagers if accompanied by a parent or older friend). Newcomers, beginners, and experienced meditators are invited to attend.   Even those not wishing to become a student  of Roshi Bodhin Kjolhede, students of other teachers, and practitioners in other traditions are warmly welcomed. Participants are simply asked to follow our forms and customs while in attendance.  ​

​We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit ​that operates as much as possible on the Buddhist virtue of dana (or giving).  Our organization is run entirely by volunteers. Your contributions go directly toward activities that support Zen practice allowing us to continue offering these services to others in the future.  We rely on your generosity and your giving is tax-deductible.
